Marcus Kong

Physiotherapist / Rehab Physiotherapist

BASc, MPT

Marcus graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice. He has gained broad rehabilitation experience across hospitals and private practices, including Box Hill, Peter James, Maroondah, and Wantirna Hospital, as well as international experience at a Parkinson's rehabilitation centre in Vicenza, Italy.

Marcus is currently one of the Physiotherapist for St Kevin's College Football Program and also has VFL-level experience, along with previous roles at Uni Blues and Old Camberwell Footblal Club. He has developed strong expertise in managing sporting injuries, load progression, and return-to-play rehabilitation.

A lifelong athlete, Marcus has represented Australia in badminton since age 14, competing internationally and being shortlisted for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team. He continues to train and compete with the Badminton Victoria Senior State Team at MSAC.

Marcus adopts a holistic, individualised approach to physiotherapy, integrating hands-on treatment, exercise prescription, and education to help clients achieve their goals. Outside of work, he enjoys training, exploring new cafes, and travelling

- Completed his first half-marathon in 35-degree heat in Italy.

- Is currently undergoing rehab for his own ACL injury


Consultations

Marcus consults out of our Heidelberg clinic on Mondays, Wednesday mornings, Thursday afternoons, Fridays, and Saturday mornings.

Marcus is also available to do home visits on Wednesday afternoons.
